Turkmenistan and Tatarstan's interactions in the field of healthcare were discussed

On Tuesday, Turkmen Consul General in Kazan Guych Garayev met with Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marcel Minnullin.
The Consul General emphasised Turkmenistan's active collaboration with the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of healthcare. So, two helicopters were purchased for Turkmenistan's Ministry of Health and Medical Industry in 2021; last year, specialists from a number of Turkmen clinics were trained in the cycle "Laparoscopy in gynaecology" at the Training Centre named after prof. I.V. Fedorov; and work on cooperation in the field of ophthalmology is underway between "Eidos-Medicine" LLC and the International Educational and Scientific Centre of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Health
G. Garayev also mentioned the Tatarstan company JSC "TatKhimPharmPreparaty."
M. Minnullin, for his part, emphasised the significance of the eighth meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation, which will be held in Ashgabat on March 15-16.
The parties also discussed issues of scientific and practical interaction through the exchange of medical workers' experience.
