Indian digital health platform Practo has launched its care navigation services in the United States, marking the company’s most significant overseas expansion following a successful debut in the United Arab Emirates last year.
Since entering the US market in April 2025, Practo says adoption has surged organically, quickly scaling to more than 300,000 monthly active users, a nearly six-fold increase in traffic. The platform has also onboarded over 200,000 doctors across specialties, helping it achieve an annualised gross merchandise value (GMV) run-rate exceeding USD 75 million.
Early demand in the US has been particularly strong in dental care and mental health services, and over 500 healthcare professionals from more than 150 clinics, hospitals, and independent practices are already using Practo’s subscription-based platform. The company plans to broaden its offering to include additional specialties over time, with the aim of allowing patients to find, book and access not only primary care but also specialist consultations and surgical services through a unified interface.
Practo’s co-founder and CEO Shashank ND said the US debut demonstrates that healthcare technology built in India can successfully address complex care-navigation challenges in advanced healthcare systems. He added that the expansion reflects the company’s vision of shifting healthcare organisation from institution-centric systems toward an outcomes-oriented, choice-driven model.
To support growth in the US, Practo is strengthening its local team to speed up provider onboarding and deepen engagement with independent practices, clinics, hospitals, and larger healthcare networks. The company is also evaluating strategic acquisitions to expand its provider base and specialty coverage in the region.
Practo’s US entry follows its launch in the United Arab Emirates in 2025, where its platform has garnered around 50,000 monthly active users and lists tens of thousands of doctors across thousands of clinics. The company says its expanding global footprint reinforces its broader mission to build a data-driven healthcare navigation platform that improves care access and outcomes worldwide.
