Park Medi World Limited, one of North India’s rapidly expanding hospital chains, has completed the full acquisition of Krishna Super-speciality Hospital, a 250-bed multi-speciality facility in Bathinda, Punjab, in an all-cash deal valued at ₹40 crore.
The move marks a strategic milestone in Park Medi World’s broader expansion drive following its successful initial public offering, which raised around ₹920 crore last year. The company, which had been managing the hospital’s operations since July 2025, now owns 100 per cent equity of the facility after buying the entire shareholding from the hospital’s previous promoters, Mahip Hospitals Private Limited.
Krishna Super-speciality Hospital, situated in the heart of Bathinda, offers 70 ICU beds as part of its 250-bed capacity and delivers a range of advanced clinical services across cardiac sciences, neurosciences, oncology, orthopaedics and in-house diagnostics.
According to regulatory filings, the hospital’s revenue nearly doubled in FY25 to ₹16 crore, up from about ₹7.7 crore in the previous year, reflecting growing demand for quality care in the region.
Park Medi World’s acquisition aligns with its goal of rapidly scaling its footprint across North India. The company has outlined plans to grow its total bed capacity to more than 5,000 beds by 2028, leveraging both brownfield acquisitions and greenfield expansions.
This Bathinda addition follows recent transactions, including the purchase of the KP Institute of Medical Sciences in Agra for ₹245 crore and Febris Multi-Speciality Hospital in New Delhi’s Narela for about ₹50.7 crore, underscoring the group’s assertive inorganic growth strategy.
“Having successfully managed the hospital’s operations over the past several months, we are now fully committed to delivering high-quality care to both urban and rural patients,” said Dr. Ankit Gupta, Managing Director of Park Medi World Limited.
The acquisition reinforces Park Medi World’s position in Punjab’s healthcare market and adds to its expanding network of multi-specialty hospitals, helping the group enhance service reach and clinical capacity in key northern markets.
