Oncologists from around the world participate in the international meet in Yerevan

"Paediatric oncology and haematology are among the fastest developing fields of medicine in Armenia," said Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, welcoming delegates from an international meeting of paediatric haematology experts.
Armenian doctors are active members of the global community in this field, and our country hosted leading paediatric oncologists from Europe and Central Asia this year.
During the international meeting, which was held in Yerevan on May 16-17, dozens of oncologists from the world's leading clinics and children's cancer foundations participated in workshops to discuss emerging challenges in paediatric oncology and ways to address them.
Opportunities for professional experience exchange and new collaboration with international clinics was created during the two-day international meeting.
