Residents in the Jalal-Abad region's Kara-Kul town reported a lack of haemoglobin and microreactor blood analysis. Abdulbaky Yrysbekov, the director of the town hospital, confirmed the problem and stated that it had been resolved.
According to Yrysbekov, the required testing had to be suspended at the start of the year due to reagent shortages. However, the issue has been resolved, and reagents were delivered on May 4.
He explained that some companies choose not to participate in tenders because the cost of medicines or reagents rises on a daily basis, making them unprofitable.
The hospital now has the necessary testing reagent. During the approximately 10-day period when the reagents were unavailable, the hospital was forced to refer patients to other medical institutions for the necessary tests.
