Iranian and Tajik officials have signed an agreement in the pharmaceutical industry.The agreement was inked an MoU in the presence of the Iranian deputy science minister for international affairs Mohammad-Hossein Nicknam and the Tajik ambassador to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi.
The signing of this memorandum by Iran's Director General of Drug Affairs and Tajikistan's Director General of Drug Affairs follows several visits and discussions by a Tajik delegation in the field of medicine with officials from Iran's Food and Drug Organization.
Tajikistan has always been a top priority for Iran, according to Niknam. Both countries share numerous cultural, historical, and social similarities. The two sides' shared language has always resulted in extensive cooperation and communication, he added.
According to Nicknam, an Iranian medical centre provides services in Tajikistan, and he hopes to continue cooperation in other areas, particularly medicine and medical equipment.
