India is set to host one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical industry gatherings later this month. The 18th edition of CPHI & PMEC India 2025 will be held from November 25 to 27 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, bringing together thousands of executives, exhibitors, and investors from across the globe.
Organised by Informa Markets in India, the event is expected to attract over 50,000 industry professionals and 2,000+ exhibiting companies representing more than 120 countries. The exhibition will showcase the entire pharmaceutical value chain — from APIs, formulation, excipients, and packaging to machinery and contract services.
Key themes this year include API self-reliance, sustainability, digitalisation, and export expansion, reflecting India’s ambition to evolve from being a leading producer of generics to a global innovation hub. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, highlighted that the Indian pharmaceutical sector has become one of the most dynamic globally, recognised for affordable generics and life-saving vaccines. The industry currently contributes around 1.72% to India’s GDP.
The three-day event will host policy-driven sessions such as the Women in Pharma Roundtable, Pharma Leaders Roundtable, CPHI Pharma Awards, and the Pharma Connect Congress, designed to facilitate collaboration among industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators.
Global participation will be strong, with exhibitors from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, China, and South Korea, alongside leading Indian pharmaceutical companies like Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hetero Labs, Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals, and Morepen Laboratories.
With India’s pharmaceutical market projected to reach USD 130 billion by 2030 and potentially USD 450 billion by 2047, the event aims to catalyse investments, strengthen international partnerships, and drive innovation.
As the global pharmaceutical landscape navigates evolving supply chains and regulatory frameworks, CPHI & PMEC India 2025 is set to be a pivotal platform for industry thought-leadership and collaboration.
