ASG Eye Hospital has unveiled an ambitious “Vision 2030” roadmap, outlining plans to invest between 1,500–2,000 crore to significantly scale its national footprint. With more than 175 hospitals and around 200 vision centres already operating across 95 cities, the eye-care chain now aims to expand to 600–700 centres over the next six years, with a strong focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where access to specialised eye care remains limited.

The network intends to pursue a combination of acquisitions, new multispecialty hospitals, and district-level centres to accelerate this growth. Each year, ASG plans to acquire 8–10 specialised ophthalmic practices, establish 5–7 advanced hospitals, and launch roughly 100 district-level centres to deepen its reach.

This strategy is driven by the company’s goal to close the gap in quality eye-care services across underserved regions and ensure that financial or geographic barriers do not hinder access to treatment.

To support this expansion, ASG expects to raise around 1,000 crore through private placement or a public offering within the next 12–18 months, supplemented by internal accruals and debt financing. The company also intends to incorporate tele-ophthalmology and collaborate through public-private partnerships to strengthen access in remote locations, enabling advanced diagnostics and remote consultations for communities that need them most.

ASG’s Vision 2030 marks a major step toward bringing comprehensive, high-quality eye care closer to every corner of the country.
