The current situation, changes, and developments in paediatric neurology and neurosurgery were discussed at a meeting led by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan with the heads of medical centres and specialists, which was also attended by the head of St. Petersburg Polenov Institute of Neurosurgery's children's service, doctor, professor William Khachatryan.
During the meeting, a working map was sketched out, according to which the sector's progress should be developed. The surveillance process will be viewed as a complete chain, from the detection of paediatric neurological diseases to treatment, and special platforms will be available to strengthen hospital cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Anahit Avanesyan presented an honorary certificate to Doctor, Professor William Khachatryan, head of the children's service at the St. Petersburg Polenov Institute of Neurosurgery, for his significant contributions to the development of the children's neurosurgery service and for many years of fruitful collaboration.
