Armenia has made its mark on the international technological stage by participating in the prestigious "Convergence India Expo 2024," held at the renowned "Pragati Maidan" Exhibition Complex in New Delhi from January 17-19. This historic event marks Armenia's debut with a joint pavilion, "ARMENIA," presented by the Ministry of High Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.

The Convergence India Expo, recognized as one of the largest technological gatherings in India, brought together more than 200 leading companies to explore and discuss the latest trends in high-tech, 5G, AI, cloud storage, EDGE wireless communication, cyber security, financial technologies, and more. The expo provided a platform for sectoral conferences and round table discussions, fostering opportunities for business contacts and collaboration within the technology sector.

On January 17, the Ambassador of Armenia, Vahagn Afyan, accompanied by Embassy diplomats, visited the joint Armenian pavilion to witness the innovative solutions presented by 8 Armenian field companies. These companies, participating at the initiative of the Ministry of High Technology Industry, showcased their achievements in technological, medical, artificial intelligence, machinery, and other cutting-edge fields.

During the visit, the Ambassador and diplomats engaged in discussions with representatives of Armenian companies and Indian stakeholders. Views were exchanged on the implementation of preliminary agreements and explored possibilities for establishing further effective partnerships. The joint pavilion became a focal point for networking, creating an environment conducive to fostering international collaborations.

The Armenian presence at "Convergence India Expo 2024" underscores the nation's commitment to contributing to the global technological landscape.
